American tour, Liverpool to face Roma

Liverpool - Liverpool will hold a pre-season tour to the United States next summer. One opponent who will face the Reds

is the Italian club AS Roma.

Liverpool will face Roma on the 25th of July at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox baseball team. This game is part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park

. For information, the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool have the same owner, the Fenway Sports Group leader John W. Henry. Incidentally, the owner of Rome, Thomas DiBenedetto, also from Boston and is a partner of Fenway.

 Liverpool will be in America for 12 days and will play at least twice. However, in addition to Rome, other opponents have not been announced. They also planned to train at Harvard University.

"We had a great time while playing in front of our fans in Asia last year. And it would be nice to give the opportunity for our fans in North America to see us in person this summer," said Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish.
